Description

It belongs to the Peony family, and is a small perennial evergreen shrub with a height of 1.5 to 2.5 meters. The stem has 4 edges or 4 wings. The single leaves are opposite, without petioles, the leaves are ovate to elliptic, entire, the leaves are about 30 cm long and 18 cm wide. The leaves are green and shiny, and the main veins have obvious ivory-white depressions. The bracts are pink, with a cluster of cherry-red flower spikes hanging between each two layers of bracts.
