La Layia Platyglossa Tidy Tips es originaria de California. Las flores silvestres de Tidy Tips tienen flores de 1 a 1 1/2 pulgada que son de un amarillo dorado brillante con un margen blanco distintivo y nítido en las puntas, de ahí su nombre. Las hojas son pequeñas y estrechas. Las flores de Tidy Tips son excelentes para cortar y son perfectas para jardines de rocas. También lucen muy bien en jardineras y en el frente de un borde.
