🌞Aspecto y sabor auténticos. Alta y relativamente lenta para espigarse, con hojas grandes de color verde oscuro de unos 7,5 cm de largo. Esta variedad común de albahaca genovesa puede presentar cierta variabilidad en la forma de las hojas y el tamaño de la planta. Si bien es bastante adecuada para el campo y el jardín, recomendamos utilizar una variedad más moderna y más uniforme para la producción en invernadero, contenedor o hidropónica.
🌞Flores comestibles: use las flores en cualquier receta que requiera albahaca o para decorar bebidas, ensaladas, sopas, pastas y postres. El sabor es intenso a albahaca.

🌿DÍAS HASTA LA GERMINACIÓN: 5-10 días a 65-70°F (18-21°C).
🌿SIEMBRA: Siembra directa (recomendada): Planta las semillas a 1/4" de profundidad, 2-3 semillas por pulgada, en hileras separadas por 18". Aprieta la tierra sobre las semillas. No es necesario aclarar, pero un espaciado final de 4-8" produce plantas sanas y llenas. Nota: La albahaca sagrada requiere algo de luz para germinar, así que siembra más superficialmente que otras albahacas. Trasplante: Siembra en interiores 6 semanas antes de plantarlas. Planta a 1/4" de profundidad y mantén a 70°F (21°C) para una mejor germinación. 🌿COSECHA: Comience a cosechar las plantas de manera ligera después de que se hayan establecido. Es mejor hacerlo temprano por la mañana, cuando la temperatura es más fresca y las hojas tienen menos probabilidades de marchitarse. Se debe completar una cosecha completa justo antes de que las plantas comiencen a florecer.
