Nuestras semillas han sido cuidadosamente limpiadas para eliminar la cáscara (material de la cubierta de la semilla), lo que da como resultado una mayor tasa de germinación. Un delicioso agregado a sopas, currys, tés y cualquier otro plato que requiera limoncillo. El aceite esencial destilado de esta variedad contiene grandes cantidades de citral y geraniol y se puede usar para aromatizar, perfumar y repeler insectos. 🌿SIEMBRA: Trasplante (recomendado): Siembre las semillas en la superficie de la tierra y presiónelas o cúbralas ligeramente, ya que la luz ayuda a la germinación. Humedezca ligeramente y cubra con una tapa de domo u otra cubierta para conservar la humedad. Si está disponible, use calor de la parte inferior para mejorar la germinación. Mantenga la temperatura de la tierra alrededor de 68 °F (20 °C) hasta la germinación, o 68 °F (20 °C) por la noche y 86 °F (30 °C) durante el día. No riegue en exceso. Trasplante los grupos en celdas más grandes y cultive en un lugar cálido hasta que haya pasado la última posibilidad de heladas. Cuando la temperatura mínima del suelo sea de 45 °F (7 °C), trasplanta plántulas de 3 a 4" de alto en grupos o como plantas individuales al aire libre. Deja un espacio de 8 a 12" entre ellas en hileras separadas por 18" de distancia. Mantenlas húmedas y sin malezas. La hierba limón no tolera las heladas. Rara vez florece como anual. Se puede desenterrar y dividir en otoño para colocarlas en macetas para que pasen el invierno en el interior; o bien, comienza a sembrar nuevas plantas cada primavera.
